Advance Office Application Specialized on Excel and Access

Targeted Audience: This specialization course is designed for business professionals whose regular duty is to perform data analysis, financial modeling and reporting. Students of business studies, accounting, data science, engineering etc. can achieve good knowledge and skills for their study. The administrative officials and staffs who do budgetary work, manage schedules, collect & organize data, create various preformatted or custom report on them can find this course very helpful.

Goal: The overall goal of the course is to create smart and skilled people. Some of the major goals are listed below:

  1. Learn how to THINK like Excel, and write powerful and dynamic Excel formulas from scratch;
  2. Automate, streamline, and completely revolutionize your workflow with Excel;
  3. Maintain large sets of Excel data in a list or table;
  4. Create dynamic reports by mastering popular tools;
  5. Write advanced conditional, text, date, lookup functions and many more;
  6. Understand how Access is constructed and how to use the major objects within it;
  7. Create and modify tables, forms/sub-forms, queries and reports in Access in professional way;
  8. Crate table structure to import/export data from/to excel, notepad and other data formats;
  9. Be able to build effective database solutions for their unique data needs;
  10. Use automation in your forms with buttons and Macros;
  11. Create a multi page invoice;
  12. Increase productivity & quality and reduce time & cost;
  13. Encourage creation of paperless, efficient and smart offices.

Outcome: Participants will gain essential skills in data analysis, database management, and reporting, enabling them to efficiently handle various business and administrative tasks.

Prerequisite: Minimum HSC/A-Level/equivalent passed.

Course Duration: 90Hours (3 hours/day and 3 classes/week).

Shifts: Morning (10:00am – 01:00pm), Day (02:00pm – 05:00pm), Evening (05:00pm – 08:00pm).

Course Fee: 2,500 (Morning/Day), 3,000 (Evening).

Short Course Outline: Microsoft Excel, formulas & functions, data management, charts and data visualization, advanced formulas and functions, pivot-tables & pivot-charts, macros, collaboration & protection; Microsoft Access, tables, data entry & editing, queries, forms, reports, advanced queries, macros, database management and security.
