Graphics Design and Multimedia

Targeted Audience: This course is designed for aspiring designers who want to learn graphics design from basic level and increase their skills and knowledge up to an expert level. Freelancers who are looking forward to expanding their service offerings and attract more clients.  Artist and Illustrators who want to transition into digital design or enhance their existing skills.  The skill and knowledge achieved from this course will increase their value in job market too.

Goal: The goal of the course is to create professionally capable graphics designer. Some of major goals are listed below –

  1. Skill development of aspiring graphics designer the fundaments including typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
  2. Providing a deep understanding of design principles and how to apply them in various contexts, from print to digital media.
  3. Training students to use industry-standard design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  4. Encouraging creative problem-solving and innovative thinking to produce unique and effective designs.
  5. Offering insights into the graphic design industry, including current trends, best practices, and career opportunities.
  6. Helping students create a professional portfolio that showcases their best work and demonstrates their skills to potential employers or clients.
  7. Developing project management skills to handle multiple design projects, meet deadlines, and work efficiently.

Outcome: Create smart & knowledge-based society and increase productivity in work, education, and research.

Prerequisite: Minimum HSC/A-Level/equivalent passed.

Course Duration: 120 Hours (3 hours/day and 3 classes/week).

Shifts: Morning (10:00am — 01:00pm), Day (02:00pm — 05:00pm), Evening (05:00pm — 08:00pm)

Course Fee: 3,500 (Morning/Day), 3,500 (Evening)

Brief Course Outline: Introduction to Graphic Design, Design Process, Typography, Color Theory, Layout and Composition, Branding and Logo Design, Digital Illustration, Image Editing and Manipulation, Web and User Interface Design (UI), Print Media Design, Motion Graphics and Animation, Portfolio Development, Industry Tools and Software, Professional Practices in Graphic Design, Assessment and Projects
